As a member of the Sales Team, you are responsible for generating multiple streams of revenue, to include overnight rooms, conference space, food and beverage and other ancillary revenue for Oneida Nation Enterprises (ONE) through prospecting for new business utilizing multiple sales strategies and maintaining existing accounts. Sales Managers’ market deployment range from social to corporate clients. This is a hybrid/remote opportunity.

  • Identifies, qualifies and solicits new business to achieve individual, team and property revenue goals.
  • Targets accounts, markets, or segments with heavy emphasis on proactive solicitation and account saturation.
  • Skillfully identifies and responds to leads and maximizes conversion from all lead sources.
  • Navigates large, complex event opportunities with multi-dimensional property components with unique margin drivers. Identifying the right business opportunities that support revenue optimization goals for a multi-dimensional property experience and balancing the demand of room inventory between convention sales and casino hospitality. Closes the best opportunities based on market conditions and individual property needs.
  • Partners with internal stakeholders and vendors to develop creative ideas and proposals for potential bookings.
  • Uses negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Sales or related field preferred.
  • Experience in B2C Sales that includes all or some components of the sales process and/or upselling or cross selling. Ideal candidate would have experience hospitality setting.
  • Proven track record of delivering on goals and obtaining positive reviews.
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently utilize a variety of computer programs to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Prior working experience with a property management system, sales software preferred. Experience with Delphi a plus!
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings and holidays to support clients as needed. Core work hours are generally weekdays between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm.
  • Must be able to travel as need for client and site visits. Could be up to 30% or more per year.

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year

Schedule:
