OTE for all U.S. Residents (excluding Alaska, North Dakota, South Dakota): $75,000.00 to $85,000.00

We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and talented Sales Development Representative to join our BHN Rewards (formerly Rybbon) sales team. Reporting directly to the Sales Development Leader, this role will work closely with the Marketing and Business Development sales teams to generate and qualify sales opportunities. The person in this role will contact prospective customers through outbound prospecting tactics, as well as follow-up on inbound leads, to develop and drive qualified sales opportunities forward through the sales funnel. We are looking for individuals with a passion for winning and proven success in an SDR to AE handoff, SaaS-based sales environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new business via telephone, email, and social media to introduce the Blackhawk Network products, solutions, and services, and identify appropriate buyers within the target market
- Proactively cold-call and email into prospective accounts targeting key personas, exploring a variety of use cases that our solutions can solve
- Partner with Business Development Representatives to create strategies to setup introductory calls with prospects to then perform a lead hand-off to BD Reps
- Support strategic marketing and sales campaigns with scripted outreach and inbound lead follow-up strategies
- Collaborate with Marketing and Business Development team members as needed to plan, draft, and execute outbound communication cadences. Review plans with sales leaders prior to execution.
- Build and cultivate prospect relationships by continuously engaging them with personalized communications, such as marketing content, industry thought-leadership materials, and company news to move opportunities through the sales funnel to sales acceptance
- Collect information quickly and effectively on a company and navigate to the correct person
- Quickly articulate business benefits and functionality of B2B solutions and services at a high level
- Respond to objections and ask probing/discovery questions that surface business pain and identify sales opportunities
- Work closely and meet regularly with the sales stakeholders on prospect account strategies, prioritization, lead hand-off and follow-up
- Work with sales leaders to create and optimize lead follow-up strategies to ensure optimal lead follow-up timing and execution
- Utilize CRM system and SalesLoft to accurately record all activities, route leads, and coordinate an effective lead acceptance management process. Exceptional CRM hygiene is critical to achieve success in this role
- Use data in CRM and the available sales technology stack to identify prospects and understand use cases to successfully personalize communications and maximize a successful outreach strategy
- Expertly utilize all sales-invested technology
- Share best practices with peers
- Meet and exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- 2+ year(s) of sales experience in an SDR to AE handoff sales environment ideally at a software or technology company
- Experience in Payments, Incentives, Loyalty, and/or any sort of Financial Technology business is a plus
- Must be driven to reach personal and team pipeline generation goals
- Must have experience using a CRM, preferably Salesforce
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and can liaise effectively with senior stakeholders
- Results-driven, tenacious, and a strong team player
- College degree is preferred
