Sales Consultant roles and responsibilities
Responsible to: Sales Manager
Supervises: The sales assistants
Purpose of Position: To assist in maintaining targeted sales goals.
Qualifications:
- 2 years remodeling sales experience
- Good driving record and valid driver’s license
- Computer literate – experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Personable
- Excellent listener
- Team oriented
- Neat, organized, and punctual
Roles & Responsibilities:
- To collaborate with Sales Manager/Operations Manager on what projects are appropriate for the company.
- To assist in hiring and/or terminating sales assistants
- Assist in making marketing decisions
Receive lead Inquiries
- Enter all lead inquiry information into Builder Trend
- Email video introduction with calendar link to prospects
- Email or phone call follow up if we don’t hear back from prospect
- Prospect schedules Zoom/Phone consult to determine and schedule next steps
Project Consult
- Meet with prospect on Zoom and qualify, 30-60 minutes. Come to a decision about next steps.
- Submit Design Contract, Construction Retainer Agreement or schedule follow up meeting.
- Receive signed Design Contract or Construction Retainer Agreement and payment.
Client Set Up
- Enter new client information into Builder Trend
- Import “Process Schedule” into calendar on Builder Trend
- Send Builder Trend invitation to client
- Schedule onsite intake/measure meeting with designer and client
Project Development
- Present first draft of design with designer along with preliminary budget range
- Present second draft of design and confirm budget range.
- Schedule in house pre estimate review meeting (IHPERM) with estimator.
- Schedule and perform trade partner walk through with estimator for proposal pricing.
- Complete “Scope of work” form
- Schedule In House Estimate Review Meeting (IHERM)
- Schedule “Construction Proposal” review meeting with client
Close Sale
- Email “Construction Proposal” one day prior to presentation
- Meet with client to present and review “Construction Proposal” with product allowances and final design for sign off and approval.
- Present final “Construction Contract” to client once product selections are complete and documented for sign off and approval.
Project Preparation
- Schedule “In House Project Review Meeting” (IHPRM) prior to the Preconstruction meeting.
- Schedule Preconstruction meeting one week prior to project start date.
Project Completion
- Schedule Closeout meeting with client and designer after 100% completion of project
- Discuss possible photo shoot of project.
- Discuss & request Google review.
- Discuss & schedule Guild Quality Survey
- Request an introduction/referral.
- Discuss & Schedule thirty day and six month follow up
- Present “Photo book”
- Schedule one year anniversary postcard mailing
