Eugene Henry's is a specialty food & gift store on Main Street in downtown Falmouth, MA. We were voted "Best New Business" on the Upper Cape! A truly unique, one-of-a-kind store with a fun, industrial vibe.

We are looking for a Sales Associate to be responsible for creating a welcoming environment to our customers, showcasing and selling our unique products, and upholding excellent customer service. The ideal candidate for this position has experience working in retail and a strong dedication to providing exceptional service for customers. And a passion for food & beverages and a good sense of humor doesn't hurt!

Schedule

• Part time, year round
• Nights (until 9:00 pm in the summer), weekends, & holiday availability required
• Flexible hours, up to 40 hours/week for the right person

Responsibilities

• Greet customers to create a welcoming environment
• Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge
• Check customers out on the POS system (we use Square)
• Assist with inventory receiving, organizing, and stocking
• Assist with all store operations, including opening/closing
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for our customers

Skills

• Basic understanding of customer service practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organization skills
• A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
• Able to carry 30lbs up and down stairs
• Able to stand for extended periods
• Basic cooking & bartending skills helpful but not required
• Able to work independently
