Callahan?s Carpet One is hiring a Sales Associate to join their team in Hudson, Ohio. You will assist our customers in our showroom with their flooring choices and close sales to grow the bottom line.

Callahan?s Carpet One, locally owned and operated since 1960, has served Portage, Summit and other surrounding counties. Duties

• Greet customers and conduct initial intake within retail store
• Assist with design and product choices
• Handle the sale from A to Z including entries into flooring software system
• Complete follow up visits to customers' homes
• Provide outstanding customer service
• Keep up to date on our products and warranties

• Sales experience of 3+ years; retail sales experience in decor, fashion, or furniture strongly preferred
• A passion for, or experience with, decorating or design desired
• Some college preferred, but not necessary
• Must have access to reliable transportation in order to get to work and to visit customers' homes (as necessary)
• Strong computer proficiency and a willingness to learn our operating systems
• Excellent oral, written and mathematical skills
• Dependable, accountable, and punctual
• Organized and detail oriented

• Salary: $40,000 Base + Commission (historically $20-30K/year)
