RN Supervisor- St. Catherine of Siena Nursing & Rehabilitation

** $10,000 Sign-On Bonus **

St. Catherine of Siena Nursing and Rehabilitation and St. Catherine of Siena Hospital are proud members of Catholic Health and have served the residents of the Smithtown area for more than 50 years. St. Catherine's is located on the north shore of Long Island in Smithtown. The campus is comprised of a 240-bed nursing and rehabilitation care center; 296-bed not-for-profit community hospital and a 60,000 square foot medical office building. RN SUPERVISOR RESONSIBILITIES:

Motivates and encourages self-direction of care team members to participate fully in the mission and goals of Catholic Health Services Inc. Ensures and maintains adequate and competent levels of patient care in all areas of operation. Collaborates with the Vice President for Patient Services in facilitating nursing care. Assumes responsibility for all administrative activities in the absence of the Administrator on premises.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Licensed Registered Nurse, Bachelors Degree preferred. Minimum 3-5 years experience in health care management field preferred.

Experience in team based environment desirable. Basic knowledge of regulatory agency requirements, establishment of staffing patterns and schedules. Excellent supervisory and communication skills necessary for coordinating staff activities and interpreting operating policies and procedures for staff.
