DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide structure and supervision of the daily programming of the residential milieu to ensure successful coordination and implementation of the client’s daily treatment services.
• Participate as a multi-disciplinary team member in developing and implementing client treatment plans and interventions.
• Assist the Clinical Supervisor in the selection, training, ongoing professional development and performance evaluation of staff.
• Manage and monitor the program milieu and collaborate with coworkers to ensure an emotionally and physically safe environment for clients and one that is also positive, respectful, clean and therapeutic.
• Perform other job and work-related responsibilities, tasks and projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in social work, psychology or clinically related field required.
• Minimum of 3 years job related experience in adolescent counseling and/or residential treatment program experience required
• 1+ years supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience working with families and trauma-exposed children, or adolescents is strongly preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required. Must meet state regulating agency and corporate driving requirements.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to assist staff in proper restraining of clients.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100+ pounds with assistance.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time (2-4 hours).
• Must be able to twist, bend and stretch in a manner conducive to the execution of daily activities within the residential program.
