Overview:
A Research Assistant I position is currently available in Dr. Vakhtin's laboratory at The Mind Research Network. The Research Assistant will work on several studies examining neurocognitive dysfunctions associated with various neuropsychiatric disorders. The RA will be responsible for participant recruitment, screening, and scheduling, as well as data collection (behavioral & neuroimaging), processing of blood samples, data entry/analyses, and other duties as needed. The RA will be expected to become proficient in the use of MATLAB and Linux. This position involves working directly with sensitive populations as part of a research team, and applicants should have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been attained. Individuals with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, or pursuing a degree in a related field are preferred. Those with experience and interest in neuroscience, clinical psychology, and/or neuroimaging are strongly encouraged to apply. Individuals with current experience in neuroimaging and MEG data collection are preferred.

Requires strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Salary:
Salary is commensurate with experience + $500 sign-on bonus.
