Job Summary

Arranges for the efficient and accurate registration of patients of both scheduled and walk in services. In the absence of a Cashier, performs cashier related duties.

Core Job Responsibilities

• Uses pre-determined interviewing techniques and scripting when obtaining information from patients and/or patient representatives
• Assigns and changes guarantors accurately, further ensuring patient confidentiality
• Understands, explains, and accurately completes required facility forms before obtaining and witnessing patient signatures
• Collects Point of Service collections and processes transactions as outlined in the department’s POS collection policy.
• Perform other duties as required.

Education/Experience Requirements

REQUIRED:

High school diploma or equivalent
