Title: Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Float to Tele.(13-Week Renewable Contract)

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in Medical Surgical Float to join our healthcare team for a 13-week renewable contract. The successful candidate will provide care to adult patients on the Med Surg/Tele 2E unit. This is a day shift position, working three 12-hour shifts per week (07:00 - 19:00).

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality and compassionate patient care to adult patients on the medical surgical float unit
• Assess patients' conditions and develop appropriate nursing care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with medical advances and nursing practices

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Connecticut
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical Float nursing
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment
