Gold Standard Family Dental has an opening for a Registered Dental Hygienist in Odessa, TX. We have an amazing team that works together well, and even better patients. Job Details:
  • Full-Time or Part-Time
  • Pay rate: $36 - $42 hourly DOE

  • $3,000 Sign on Bonus
The following are the responsibilities for the position:
  • Provide superior patient care and service; exhibit outstanding service and hospitality as well as chair side manner.
  • Engage with patients in person, on the phone, via text, or email.
  • Take radiographs of patients using our radiographic equipment.
  • Stay on schedule as much as possible to help lessen patient wait time, help manage patient flow, maintain time flexibility for patients; be present, engaged, and ready to work at all assigned shift times.
  • Educate patients on customized oral hygiene instructions, health, disease as well as procedures and services; establish and communicate continued care.
  • Applying preventative materials to the teeth such as fluoride and sealants.
  • Verify patient health history and document appropriately in patients’ chart.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance.
  • Chart and diagnose different periodontal conditions with each patient. Maintain accurate and legible notes in patients’ charts.
  • Take and record patients’ blood pressure accurately. Take alginate impressions and fabricate whitening trays.
  • Work with general dentist to create a comprehensive personalized treatment plan focused on achieving optimal oral health for each patient.
  • Maintain a clean working environment and assist with cleaning in other areas of the office.
  • Assist with other office duties as requested or needed.
The following are the qualifications for the position:
  • Valid and Active Dental Hygienist License & CPR Certification
  • Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, and Infection Control training
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – Bilingual preferred
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Knowledge of all company policies and rules once trained
  • Ability to work Monday- Thursday 7:45-5:00 and Friday 7:45 – 1:00 (with one-hour lunches)
