The Role:
My client are a market leading, cutting edge technology company who develop start of the art metal additive manufacturing machines. With an expanding application base within Aerospace, Automotive and Medical, the company are seeing huge demand for their products. With arguably the most reliable technology in the market and range of printers that offer solutions with exceptional quality, they are truly revolutionising the way industrial parts are designed and produced.
In order to support their continued growth, my client are looking for a Regional Sales Manager based in Southern Germany. Covering one of their most lucrative markets, as the Regional Sales Manager you will be responsible for defining and executing a sales plan to drive sales. You will manage relationships with existing customers who rely on the technology and are looking to grow their fleets of machines. You will also be responsible for identifying new prospects and nurturing relationships to secure deals.
This broad role is a nice blend of Account Management and new business sales. You will work closely with Business Development in target industrial verticals, like Automotive. You will also have the support of the technical Application Engineering team to support customer projects and application development opportunities.
Requirements
The Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of sales within the high value capital equipment industry. This would ideally be within 3D Printing/Additive Manufacturing but you could have also gained experience in Industrial Automation, Robotics or another Industrial Machinery company. You must demonstrate an ability to work with a range of customers and nurture relationships through often long sales cycles. In particular experience working with Automotive OEM’s and Tier 1’s would be a huge advantage in this region.
As a person you will have an international mindset and must speak both fluent German and English for this position. You will be an exceptional communicator and strong negotiator with a commercial mindset. You will be given a lot of freedom and autonomy therefore you should be self managing. It is also important that you are prepared to travel within the region.
