Job description
A company that owns multiple skilled nursing facilities is looking for a strong Regional Nurse for the Westchester, NY region.
Responsibilities:
- Consult with facilities on an as needed basis through visits, phone calls, off site record review and response to requests from facility leadership
- Provide consultation during unusual or serious events
- Provide onsite consultation as needed during regulatory surveys and during the plan of correction period
- Consult with facility as needed on topics such as program development, physician recruitment, referral relationships and requirements
Qualifications of the Regional Nurse:
- Must have experience in long term care/skilled nursing
- Must have BA minimum
- Regional experience preferred
- Must have RN License in New York
- Must be willing to travel
- Must be knowledgeable in all current regulations and compliance
- Must be able to implement policies and procedures
- Must have regional experience overseeing multiple skilled nursing facilities
