High Fidelity Wraparound Regional Coordinator
Southwest Region

DHHS' System of Care is looking for a dedicated person to work as a Regional Coordinator in the Southwest Region (St. George, Cedar City, Beaver, Kanab).
The High Fidelity Wraparound Regional Coordinator administers policies, programs, operations, and supervises staff within a region as the regional administrator, and manages community services in regions. Evaluates program effectiveness, and collaborates with key stakeholders. Responsible for regular communication and close collaboration with stakeholders at the local levels. Oversees the program budget; assesses training and technical assistance needs. Monitors contracts. Incumbent administers policies, programs and operations within program as directed by the administrative office.
Residence in these areas or a willingness to relocate to one of these areas is a requirement for the position. This position is not telework/telecommute eligible.
Principle Duties

Develops, directs, and/or evaluates operations, programs, processes and/or practices for quality and effectiveness; makes recommendations for improvement in region

Represents the agency with federal, state, and local government units, private agencies, and key stakeholders in the community

Promotes and orients community partners and regional social service systems on High Fidelity Wraparound structure, wraparound approach, and maintains collaborative relationships with these key stakeholders

Develops provider networks within the region

Facilitates consensus building in meetings

Provides high fidelity wraparound services on as needed basis

Ensures required data are collected and entered into appropriate data system and provide aggregated data to administrative office for analysis

Coordinates with administrative office about staff development activities and provide regular report to the administrative office

Monitors agency or program budget including revenues, expenditures and budget projection, etc.

Takes responsibility for decisions, including explaining decision in other proceedings

Identifies system barriers and coordinates and implements policy and procedure changes

Interprets, clarifies, explains and applies agency policy and procedures, business practices, federal or state laws, and regulations, etc.

Ensures compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, agency rules, standards and guidelines, grant guidelines, etc.

Supervises subordinate personnel including: hiring and delegating assignments, training, monitoring and evaluating performance, and initiating corrective or disciplinary actions as indicated

The Ideal Candidate

Minimum of bachelor’s degree in social science, behavioral science, or related fields; preference for individuals with a Masters Degree and/or licensed as a Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, Clinical Mental Health Counselor, or equivalent licensure

Knowledge of regional child- and adult-serving systems including mental health, substance abuse, education, health, child welfare, juvenile justice, employment, medical, employment, services to people with disabilities, and housing

Ability to build alliances

Knowledge of consensus building and group facilitation process

Excellent oral and written communication skills, public relations skills, interpersonal skills and facilitation skills

Ability to weigh the relative costs and benefits of a potential action

Interact with people in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism

Knowledge of principles, theories, and practices of business administration including accounting, human and material resource management in organizations, sales and marketing, economics, organizing systems, public relations and performance management

Develop and/or implement new policies/procedures/standards and/or rules/regulations

Supervise others by assigning/directing work; conducting employee evaluations, staff training and development, taking appropriate disciplinary/corrective actions, making hiring/termination recommendations, etc.

Coordinate the activities or tasks of people, groups and/or organization(s)

The position may require some on call time. Travel within the region is required.
Supplemental Information
- Preference given to individuals who are licensed as a Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, Clinical Mental Health Counselor, or equivalent licensure
- Preference given to individuals with one or more years of experience in High Fidelity Wraparound
- Preference may be given to individuals with clinical experience supervising staff and overseeing programs
