Regional Case Manager
Reports to: Regional Manager of the Post Release Services/Home Study (PRS/HS) Program
Hours: FT Position – Monday – Friday flexible based on the needs of the PRS/HS program. Requires 75% road travel using your own vehicle or public transportation, with potential for some air travel. We reimburse mileage at the federal rate and have an additional travel policy regarding mileage.
We are exclusively looking for people who live in the following areas to perform this hybrid position: Las Vegas or Reno, NV; Salt Lake City or West Valley City, UT; Denver/Colorado Springs/Aurora, CO; Houston, Dallas, or Austin TX

General Statement of Duties: The Regional Case Manager will provide personalized regional services which are appropriate and well-documented according to U.S. Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) requirements and HFI policies. The Regional Case Manager is responsible for assessments, service planning, service coordination, psychoeducation, advocacy, discharge planning, necessary coordination with ORR, and the completion of required documentation. They will ensure compliance with ORR and state licensing regulations. ORR will have final approval of any candidate that is hired for this position.
Essential Functions:
1. Develops assessments, service plans, and coordination of case management services for clients
2. Assess the needs and risks of the minor and sponsor to determine the appropriate level of services (PRS level 1, 2 and 3)
3. Completes required documentation by deadlines and with accuracy
4. Coordinates services with local organizations
5. Exhibits cultural competency and sensitivity
6. Develops and maintains professional and supportive relationship with all agency staff, volunteers, ORR, CYF, ICE, VERA, and community
7. Models and assists in the implementation of the HART Model and Trauma-Informed Care
8. Manages unanticipated events and crisis situations in a positive, constructive manner
9. Adheres to ORR, State licensing and HFI policies and procedures
10. Assists program leadership in the reporting of any additional information as needed for ORR, state licensing, and/or internal measures
11. Exhibits cultural competency and sensitivity
12. Maintains reporting standards of quality and compliance in accordance with HFI standards
13. Maintains a cooperative attitude with all personnel
14. Adheres to other requests as indicated by the program director
15. Maintains confidentiality regarding client, staff and agency information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
16. Communicates with Regional Manager as to any problems which may arise regarding the operations/functioning of PRS/HS service program
17. Completes Home Study recommendations
18. Maintains quality and compliance of reporting in accordance with HFI standards
19. Maintains contact with clients by conducting at least 1 meeting a month
20. Level 3 cases require in-person, weekly contact for the first 45-60 days, followed by monthly contact for the remaining 6 months, with possibility to extend services in order to stabilize placement and further ensure safety of the minor.
Minimum Requirements
Master's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science in which direct clinical experience is a program requirement OR a bachelor's degree with at least 2-5 years of clinical or progressive employment experience. May be licensed, or eligible for licensure. Must be highly proficient in Spanish (read, write, speak). Must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, have good verbal, written and oral communication skills. Must obtain FBI and state child welfare clearances. EOE.
