HOW THIS ROLE IMPACTS COASTAL
As a part of Human Resources team, the Recruiter will manage the full-cycle recruiting experience, from talent sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing and hiring great employees.
This position is relied upon to independently manage the search and selection process for sales, professional, technical and other niche skill positions, and develop bank-wide recruiting / staffing plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new and creative recruiting ideas.
WHAT YOU'LL DO AT COASTAL
The Recruiter will attract, hire and retain the quality employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline. As well as collaborating with department managers to proactively identify future hiring needs, recruit and source candidates using various sources and platforms, like social media networks and employee referrals.
HOW YOU'LL DO IT
- Design and implement overall recruiting strategy to include multi state and international hiring
- Partner with and support business unit leaders on talent management planning, including assessing short and long-term resource needs
- Identify critical talent gaps within the department, division and/or organization, and develop strategies to address
- Proactively source and identify active and passive candidates leveraging a wide variety to tools and techniques (social media, search engines and job boards) to build and maintain a quality pipeline
- Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges etc.
- Manage employee referral program
- Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes, screen candidates resumes and job applications, and conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates
- Collaborate with hiring managers to draft and present offer letters
- Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
- Provide feedback and hiring information to all applicants to ensure a positive candidate experience regardless of selection decision
- Continually monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices to the recruiting and sourcing processes
- Develop and maintain activity reports highlighting search progress and disposition of all open positions
- Prepare and compile a variety of HR related analytical, standard and ad hoc reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools
- Partner with external agencies and serves as a liaison for temporary staffing needs
- Promote company’s reputation as an “employer of choice”
- Maintain compliance, and remain current on the company's organization structure, human resources policies / procedures, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field preferred
- 2-5 years of prior work experience as a Recruiter (either an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter)
- Previous banking experience preferred
- Experience with multi state and international hiring
- Hands on experience with various selection processes (video interviewing, phone interviewing, reference check etc)
- Proficient with LinkedIn Recruiter platform
- Hands-on experience with recruiting software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)or Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS)
Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong decision-making skills
- Knowledge and skill to use the Microsoft Suite of services, including Excel, Word, Outlook. Able to communicate and keep updated calendars within Outlook
- Strong understanding of Behavioral Interviewing techniques to be able to understand and choose the best potential employee to hire for each position
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team with multiple different departments
- Thrive in a multi-tasking environment across different initiatives and be able to handle/perform under the pressure
- Excellent analytical skills whether it be through statistics within our ATS or through any other system that we use
- Attention to detail to ensure timely and effective communication
- Exhibit professional and effective listening, verbal, written and telephone etiquette business communication skills, including effective questioning strategies and presentation skills; with the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English well
- Strong working knowledge and understanding of laws, regulations, policies, and procedures pertaining to Human Resources and governing employment practices, including EEO,FLSA, ADA, and other HR related laws and regulations

Pay: $59,458.00 - $83,243.00
