SUMMARY
The primary responsibilities of Lead is to support all operational functions of the Visalia Distribution Center and perform daily activities according to the quality procedures and established safe work standards of facility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES included the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Work utilizing current Warehouse Management System (AS400)
- Utilize RF system (Wearable, Hand-held devices)
- Ensure orders are filled accurately.
- Make sure all employees are taking the proper break time.
- Ensure all employees are in the proper work areas at all times
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
- Maintains an acceptable level of performance as deemed acceptable by the policy and procedures set up for the job.
- Ensure equipment is maintained in the warehouse.
- Performs these and other duties as assigned, including non-incentive and incentive work.
- Support DC in sustainability efforts in all areas.
- Understanding of PKMS (AS400) – Emphasis on DTC Packing/Seeding/Work with Cartons.
- Detail oriented – Need to follow detailed instructions.
- Goal oriented – Striving to meet department expectations and exceed department standards.
- Flexible – willingness to flow with the work requirement. Willingness to cross train and help other departments when work is light. Start times are dependent on volume. Must be willing to adjust start times and work Holidays if volume demands are high.
- Positive attitude – Work load and scheduling times fluctuate.
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet daily deadlines.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 2 years’ experience in Distribution.
- AS400/PKMS or WMS (Warehouse Management System) knowledge.
- Ability to use basic computer skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow up organized daily production schedules.
- Manage and support multiple tasks.
- Ability to interpret and understand warehouse processes and concepts.
- Must work well in team environment.
- Bilingual preferred but not required.
- At least 1 year with leadership experience. (not required but preferred)

Pay Range:
$16.42 USD - $24.62 USD per hour
Incentive Potential:
This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
