Summary:
Rogers Corporation is seeking a Quality Receiving Associate to perform activities necessary for the release of incoming materials as outlined in applicable work instructions. These activities include inspection, measurement, testing and extensive document review and verification. Activities also include documenting the acceptance or rejection of material on paper and in various software applications.
Essential Functions:

- The associate may assist in the QA lab (testing, laminating, etching, etc.) as needed.
- The associate will execute other tasks and projects as assigned by Quality Management.
- This position will Interface closely with Supply Chain and work regularly with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality and R&D.

Required Education and Experience:
- In current shift and position for a minimum of six months
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Safety conscious
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Basic computer literacy
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Ability to shift focus when priorities change
- Demonstrated work ethic and good attendance record
- Effective interpersonal skills; ability to interact with a wide variety of people
- Ability to become forklift certified
- Ability to learn new processes and equipment as needed
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. routinely
- Experience in an ISO 9001 certified manufacturing facility
- Experience in Receiving Inspection position
- Familiarity with measurement and test equipment, such as micrometer, caliper, scales, lamination press, peel tester
- Knowledge of EtQ Reliance, Infinity & PeopleSoft software
