WorkFit Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) for a local hospital and skilled nursing facility located in Medina, NY.

This is a permanent position with the facility offering excellent benefits and competitive pay!

Full-time night position 10pm-6am (offering shift differentials in addition to hourly rate)

Job Duties:

• Must follow physicians' orders precisely and conform to regulations concerning the use of radiation to protect themselves, their patients, and their coworkers from unnecessary exposure
• Operate the Radiology equipment to acquire a variety of imaging results
• Must be able to work independently and demonstrate flexibility in work assignments
• Help patients transfer to the exam table and ensuring adequate patient immobilization to perform exams
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and working area
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Job Specific Requirements:

• Requires New York State License as a Radiology Technologist
• Maintaining superior diagnostic imaging in accordance with standardized procedures
• Current BLS
• Ability to maintain a great knowledge in human anatomy and cross section anatomy, proper positioning skills, and appropriate utilization of protocols and scanning techniques
