Laborie Medical Technologies is currently searching for a Quality Technician to join our team at our Mechanicsburg, PA location.

Position Overview:

Plans and conducts activities concerned with the quality assurance of processes, materials, and products and assisting in the management of selected Quality Systems, Quality Assurance and Quality Control. Perform quality activities in support of Operations.

How you contribute:

• Performs inspections/testing and quality release (raw materials, in-process, product release and customer product complaints)
• Performs clean room environmental monitoring
• Generates certificate of conformances
• Coordinates calibration
• Coordinates pest control

• Documents data obtained during all quality assurance activities, consistent with company policies and procedures
• Participates in audits and regulatory body inspections
• Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations
• Gives and welcomes constructive feedback; contributes to building a positive team spirit
• Treats others with respect; works with integrity and ethically; upholds organizational values

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of quality experience preferred
• Excellent organizational skills and attentive to detail
• A strong knowledge of basic mathematical operations is desirable

• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated computer skills and a working knowledge of computer software (MS Outlook, MS Word, and Excel)
• Exposure to ISO and FDA regulations desirable
• Demonstrated success working independently and in a team environment
