Crane Currency invites you to join us for a fulfilling career as a Quality Manager where you will be in charge of the quality assurance processes and quality team members in our Nashua, NH facility.
This leadership role creates and maintains effective business processes; leading our local quality initiatives and improvement in areas such as meeting customer specs, new product development, quality planning and corrective and preventive action; cross-functional partnering to define strategy for accelerating continuous improvements, process control and overall quality assurance.
QA Manager is responsible for

  • Partnering with Operations and leadership to implement and manage process controls and improvement activities through monitoring KPIs, the development and completion of initiatives, and auditing
  • Direct quality-related initiatives and activities for all aspects of process controls, problem solving and variation reduction; this includes the development of necessary skills sets
  • Develop, integrate and support lean methods and external quality standards into the process controls as necessary to ensure system compliance, effectiveness and sustainability
  • New Product Introduction Process (PRIME) key member
  • Define and integrate C.I. initiatives within your Quality team
  • Foster a motivated, flexible and well-trained quality team that encourages continuous growth and development
  • Promote safety and ensure a safe work environment and safe work habits
  • Management Representative; in charge of ensuring ISO 9001 and other applicable compliance standards
  • Direct efforts to maintain process controls, including any necessary system or product certifications (e.g., ISO, etc.)

Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Engineering, Science, or Business; Master’s degree preferred
  • Min 8 years progressive experience in quality roles with proven results demonstrating bottom-line performance impact
  • Min 5 years successful experience leading both large and small teams in a high matrix environment; must have demonstrated people management and employee development skills for direct and indirect reports in a fast-paced, quality-focused manufacturing or production environment
  • Experience creating and maintaining budgets
  • Experience within high-tech manufacturing industry strongly preferred
  • Expert knowledge in ISO9001 and industry specific standards
  • Strong proficiency and experience developing, deploying and sustaining quality systems
  • Ability to effectively develop internal processes to address changes to the external/customer requirements
  • Must be a dynamic self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment establishing quality planning methods, product validation and on-going product approval standards
  • Strong process and workshop facilitation skills; must exhibit excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills delivering information clearly and factually as demonstrated through regular and positive engagement with various stakeholders from executive level to shop floor
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills, including Team building and talent development
  • Confident decision-making abilities channeled through strong business acumen and fact-based analysis
