Supplier Quality Engineer

Hybrid work schedule out of our Middleton, WI site

As a TEAMMATE:

Natus Medical Incorporated is looking for a meticulous self-starter to join our dynamic and exciting global team in the role of Supplier Quality Engineer. In this full-time position, you will work at our Middleton Facility to support sourcing, manufacturing operations, and quality systems by participating in value improvement projects.

What you’ll get to do in this role:

· Complete Supplier Assurance activities within Natus ensuring QMS standards and Regulations are complied with

· Co-ordinate and Perform Supplier Audits

· Manage Supplier risk assessments and on-going evaluations

· Play a key role in leading any performance improvement of suppliers and increasing the suppliers capabilities to consistently meet Natus requirements

· Drive improvement and corrective action in the quality of components/products sourced from external suppliers

· Help develop and recommend acceptance criteria for products

· Monitor supplier performance to drive supplier corrective action, manufacturing yield issues and field failures

· Travel: up to 20% domestic or international travel on as need basis

What we are looking for:

· Bachelor’s degree from 4-year college or university in an engineering or scientific discipline; equivalent years of experience and education can be considered

· Minimum 4 years’ Quality Engineering related experience, including experience in the medical device industry

· ISO 13485 Lead Auditor Certification (min. 4/5 day training course), or will consider medical device supplier auditing experience in place of Certification

· Pro-active self-starter with good communication skills

· Able to work independently with minimum supervision
