Our customer is a rapidly growing medical technology company in the field of digital health. With its products, the company helps to improve the flow of information in the hospital sector, minimize treatment errors and thus ensure better quality patient care. To support the production process and the continuous improvement of process quality and efficiency for one of its departments, our client has tasked us with identifying and recruiting an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team in Berlin.

The Quality Assurance Engineer will test products and procedures and ensure they meet the safety and quality standards. Ultimately, the role will help the company to build products that address customers’ needs.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Support new product development in all aspects of production including the interpretation and implementation of new testing tools and test strategies
• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Test current products and identifying deficiencies as well as suggest solutions to identified product problems
• Identify key KPIs for product quality and provide reports and metrics to Senior Management
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect as well as Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs

Key skills and experience required

• Previous experience as a developer within the Medical or Healthcare industry
• At least 3 years of professional experience with Selenium
• At least 5 years of experience with both manual testing and testing of web-applications
• Familiarity and working experience with JDI
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken is required for the role
• Educated to degree level in a related discipline
• Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented personality
