AllWorld Language Consultants, Inc. (ALC) is a consulting firm that provides a vast array of technical and professional services such as: translation, interpretation, transcription, Title III intercepts, multi-media production, training, and intelligence support.

We are currently looking for backups for our Arabic On-Site Manager position at Al Udeid Air Base in Doha, Qatar.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of five years work experience as a cultural advisor in Qatar or other Gulf Cooperation Council member countries.
• Experience interfacing with agencies such as State of Qatar General
• Headquarters Qatar, Ministry of Transportation, Ministry of Economy/ Commerce, and the Ministry of Interior.
• Minimum of five years work experience in as an English/Arabic translator and interpreter in a country in which Arabic is the official language.
• Minimum of three years work experience with the United States Government during operations supporting a declared contingency.
• Minimum ILR language scores of 3 in both Modern Standard Arabic and English from the Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR), ALTA, or Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT) equivalent
• TS/SCI security clearance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Schedule and monitor contract personnel work schedules.
• Provide specific Qatari cultural advice and overall Arabic cultural training support pertaining to customs and courtesies via routine briefs/events at AUAB to include but not limited to Wing Welcome Brief, Town Hall meetings, base and unit cultural briefings, etc.
• Primary advisor to the HNCC Director and 379 AEW/CC.
• Shall provide interface with host government officials including key leader engagements.
• In addition to the tasks above, all advisors (including the On-Site Manager) will be responsible for working with and communicating with the local Qatari Customs office, the Qatari Immigration office and Qatari military. The contractor will be responsible for assisting new and existing contractors with US badging paperwork requirements. The contractor will be familiar with or become familiar the Qatari military badging process to get contractors and goods (tangible items) on and off base. The On-Site Manager will have a general knowledge of the local area including where to make purchases from local vendors for a variety of commodity and construction needs. The On-Site Manager may be required to review Arabic pass paperwork and serve as an advisor with vendors unable to correspond in English over the phone.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
