Job Purpose

The Public Agency Grant Specialist will work to assist current customers and find new customers to close sales and drive revenue.

Job Duties

The Public Agency Grant Specialist will work to develop new leads, communicate with customer, and understand what their needs are. This position will work close with the sales team and assist in some administrative work. Sometimes they will be expected to help prepare for shows/expos and helping ensure the company is well represented.

They are expected to be able to build instant rapport and achieve customer satisfaction quickly and decisively. Must be comfortable making cold calls and communicating about all aspects of our product to customers to generate interest. Additionally, the Public Agency Grant Specialist will occasionally schedule demos, tours and other means to generate interest in products with occasional travel involved as well.

Required Skill/Abilities

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, sales, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in working with CRM’s
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience

High school diploma required.

Working Conditions

Office setting, constant sitting, working on a computer, occasional lifting and warehouse conditions. Occasional travel to customers in area may be required. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.

Compensation

Hourly Wage: $18.00 (Full-Time, Exempt)
