Job Title: Provider Relations
Duration: 3 Month Contract to Hire
Location: Jacksonville, FL 32224
Pay Rate: $16-20 based on experience
Hours/Shifts: M-F / First Shift
JOB SUMMARY
- This position is responsible for communication with providers to obtain compounded formula approvals.
- This employee establishes a professional and customer focused rapport with each provider’s office to ensure their questions are appropriately addressed.
- The primary focus of this role is superior customer excellence with all customers, external and internal.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Place outbound calls to providers regarding the patient’s medication
- Maintain positive relationships and effective call times with providers
- Working closely with the Sales Representatives to maintain relationships with providers
- Contacting providers within assigned areas to create new positive relationships
- Support the billing department by passing the maximum number of baskets to the Sr. Claims Processor to be billed same day
- Ensure all assigned orders are called on the same day they are received in Provider Relations
- All baskets are to follow the appropriate number of calls based on the Provider Relations procedures
- Ensure that baskets remain organized within the workspace
- Verify patient demographic information including date of birth, allergies, and phone number
- Answering any questions providers may have regarding the medication change
- Input all information related to the call into the patient profile and InjuryScripts Tracker to ensure all notes are accurate and complete
- Comply with recordkeeping requirements as determined by management
- Place outbound calls to doctors to retrieve missing patient information needed for completion of new prescriptions
- Complete Quality Related Event (QRE) form as necessary based on patient feedback
- Make the determination when a call needs to be escalated to the Team Leader or Manager of the department
- Follow-up with patients, doctors’ offices, marketing and sales representatives as necessary
- Follow-up internally with other departments as necessary to resolve patient related matters
- Follow up with patients, doctors’ offices, pharmacists when necessary
- Ensure that baskets and work space remains organized
- Monitors prescription time spent in the Provider Relations Department and makes adjustments accordingly to support customer service excellence
- Uphold superior customer service excellence and public relations; provide premier customer service and interaction
- Ensure customer satisfaction, maintain positive working relationships with internal co-workers
- Maintain a strong sense of focus to the task at hand and keep distractions to a minimum, this includes non-tolerance of personal cell phone usage during work time
- Consistent attendance and promptness, ready to work at the start of their schedule shift
- Maintains a focus on the Company Mission Statement and upholds its directive when performing daily work
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned

- Must be a team player
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate’s Degree preferred
- 1-3 years prior experience with customer/patients relations is preferred
- Be licensed with the Florida State Board of Pharmacy
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
