We offer a leadership position in interesting research and development projects with international industrial customers for the mobility of tomorrow. Help us to bring new technologies and software functions directly from the desk to the road. Potential projects include experimental testing of physical and numerical software functions on prototype control units in test vehicles and test bed engines.
As project manager role, you will take on tasks in the area of:
- Project management in the development of innovative powertrain controls - concept to series production
- Professional and technical leadership of a project team in the area of control function development and calibration of powertrains (gasoline, diesel, natural gas, hydrogen)
- Coordination with external and internal project partners
- Support of acquisition and quotation processes
- Support in the development of processes and standards
- Completed technical studies in the field of automotive engineering, power engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or comparable qualification, ideally with a completed doctoral degree
- Extensive professional experience in the management of automotive development projects and personnel management
- Experience in the development of powertrain functions and their application on control units in the vehicle or test bench
- Experience in the use of Rapid-Control-Prototyping control units (dSpace and ETAS)
- Experience in the development of numerical and physical control units functions
- Experience in exhaust gas aftertreatment of stoichiometric and lean combustion processes
- Willingness to travel internationally
- English (B2) language skills
- German (C1) language skills
- Ability to work under pressure, strong analytical skills and team-oriented approach
