A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Project Procurement Lead (f/m/d) you will integrate Procurement in the project management process and project business teams at an early stage. You will organize, control and monitor all procurement activities in a project and introducing procurement strategies targeting maximum contribution to the operating result and guaranteeing the observance of the procurement processes described and optimizing deployment of resources.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Participate in project/sales meetings as a core team member to optimize workflows and processes
• Analyze customer inquiries and understand their functional needs to include supplier innovations during bid preparation
• Support project calculation with reliable material cost data
• Analyze scope of supply and contract agreements, carry out risk analyses and provide negotiation recommendations
• Assess and control material costs within the whole project business and ensure procurement involvement
• Drive procurement strategies in projects and ensure their implementation
• Compile relevant information and clarify internal indicators for project controlling
• Submit qualified reports to stakeholders

What You Bring

• Technical or commercial master’s degree and several years of experience in purchasing, supplier management or mechanical engineering
• Cross-functional experience in a different area
• Proficient English and German preferred
• Confident use of MS Office
• High social competence, goal orientiation and independence
• Excellent negotiation competence as well as excellent presentation/moderation skills
• Intercultural competence
