Job Overview
The Operations Project Manager, reporting into the Lead Care Center Project Manager, is responsible for aiding in managing capital projects across multiple facilities in the company’s network. This involves developing project scope and user requirements, compiling funding requests, selecting, and supervising of contractors and coordinating internal stakeholders for effective project delivery. Management of project financials will be required, to ensure project deliverables are met on-time and within-budget.
Location: Remote Role, 80% Travel Required. Full Time, Salary Position. Must be in Idaho, Montana, Utah, Washington or Colorado.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Work with the Director of Facilities Management to define project scope and goals
- Conceptualize short and long-term capacity, productivity, cost, and safety improvements required throughout projects
- Consult with internal and external subject matter experts to develop project scope and user/functional requirements documents
- Prepare CAPEX documents for internal approval
- Review architectural drawings and specifications to understand fabrication requirements
- Interface with local municipalities with respect to zoning and permitting requirements.
- Manage vendor selection process, bid tendering, and all procurement related to project delivery
- Interpret and explain contracts and technical information to related professionals
- Establish and manage project specific timelines, deliverables, milestones, and qualification requirements
- Where necessary, collaborate with facility level stakeholders on project execution tasks
- Daily management of corporate Capital Expenditure budget and project portfolio
- Select and manage key vendors for equipment maintenance and project delivery
- Provide technical leadership, assist in troubleshooting, and drive process improvements
- Support acquisition integration team in projects that drive synergies and cost savings
- Other duties as required.
Education, Training & Qualifications
- 2 years’ experience with any combination of the following: project management, operations management, construction management, process engineering, maintenance management, facilities management
- Demonstrated effective project management skills; ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Bachelor’s Degree in construction management or project management preferred
- 2+ years construction experience working with owners, general contractors, architects and engineers; construction management and/or general contractor experience preferred
- 2+ years new facility buildout experience preferred
- Extensive experience reading architectural drawings and specifications.

- Computer savvy with effective working skills of Asana, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Good interpersonal management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Energetic, self-motivated, and results-oriented
- Ability to think outside the box and generate viable technical solutions
- Proven team player who is both flexible and adaptable
- Ability to conduct presentations to internal stake holders
Working Conditions
- Travel up to 80% will be required.
- Lifting or moving up to 50 lbs. may be required.
- Some weekend work to meet hard deadlines.

- Regular lifting/moving 50+ lbs.
