Project Manager
Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for leading a team of professionals in completing projects by a set deadline to uphold business initiatives. Duties include project identification and scoping, gathering requirements, project estimating, acquiring suppliers and resources, full scope of budgeting, including invoice tracking, reconciliation and payment, and project close out. Projects generally focused on building infrastructure, repair, and improvement. Throughout the duration of the project, the Project Manager will regularly communicate with staff and clients, make decisions, and closely monitor the progress of the project to maintain its schedule.
Responsibilities include:
•Gathering requirements to include full scope of project (building, technical, equipment needs)
•Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
•Project leadership to project team to include resourcing of all skillsets required to complete the project. Delegating tasks included in the project to resources best positioned to execute them
•Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
•Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy
•Communicating with management to ensure project stages aligned with goals
•Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected
•Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project changes
•Evaluate drawings and specifications to determine requirements necessary for project success
Skills Required:
•Building systems and technical infrastructure knowledge and experience
•Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to relay confidence and professionalism
•Leadership capability for leading both internal and external teams
•Ability to organize and prioritize clearly the complexity and volume of information associated with projects
•Strong interpersonal skills, to include professional demeanor, teamwork and collaboration, and adherence to Kodak values
•Recognizes and communicates problems and risks in advance, along with recommendations
•Experience with financial systems and budgeting, recognizing the criticality of accurate tracking and compliance
•Self-motivated, is flexible and adaptive to changing situations, effectively deals with conflict
•Knowledge and experience with reading and interpreting building drawings
