Job description

We are looking for a Project Engineer for a position within an industry leading Transportation Company. The successful candidate will have experience designing and implementing technical documentation, coordination across the project for the timely delivery of documentation and designs, management and analysis of contractual specifications as they relate to the technical design of the project and vendor management in regards to the procurement and supply chain needs of the project.

In this role you will lead the Hardware Team's efforts towards the technical design, equipment procurement and implementation of equipment to the assigned project.

These Responsibilities Include:

· The creation of technical documentation to be used as reference and design of hardware for the assigned project(s) such as Design Documentation, Analysis' for power networking and security needs of infrastructure and Bill of Materials

· Review customer led comments on contractual requirements and coordinate with other internal groups to ensure cohesion of deliverables to the customer

· Coordinate internal meetings and updates to Work Package Leads(Project Management) as to progress and risk mitigation of project priorities

· Work with System Engineers directly to ensure designs meet the requirements and safety standards of the customer contract and provide guidance for Requirements Traceability

· Coordinate and lead meetings with project team to understand specific requirements as they pertain to the project equipment

· Work with procurement and supply chain departments to order approved materials in reference to an approved Bill of Materials for an assigned project

· Responsible of inventory management for assigned project(s) and ensure equipment is staged and built following industry led safety standards

Skills & Experience:

· Experience with project management principles and methodologies

· Understanding of COTS products and technologies; servers, hardware racks, monitors, workstations, overview displays

· Demonstrated team leadership with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

· Exceptional problem solving, planning, and analytical skills

**Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering or Information Technology Qualifications / University Degree or equivalent technical background

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
