The role you’ll contribute:

The Project Delivery Specialist supports Consumer Advocacy and the Care Advocacy teams by contributing to the development and implementation of all associated projects and work streams. Day to day activities will include project planning, execution of change management activities, project timeline management, risk escalation, resource planning and preparation of executive updates. Project Delivery Specialist will support the development of project timelines by partnering with operations team members across all workstreams to understand initiatives and deliverables at a deep level and will speak to the project details with strong understanding. This role will report to the Executive Director of Consumer Advocacy and will continually seek to achieve consistent progress and will support the overarching achievement of the team.

Qualifications


The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:

  • Working knowledge of project management programs (JIRA, smartsheet, Lucid, MS Project, Trello, etc)
  • Experience with and understanding of change management methodologies and processes

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field of study or five years of related work experience
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in project management, change management, or equivalent experience
  • Experience managing multiple project plans, work streams, timelines, schedules and deliverables

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

  • Five or more years’ experience in a project management role
  • Two or more years’ experience in the healthcare industry or consumer facing service delivery role
  • Experience in technology and digital support

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:

  • Certified in Change Management (CCMP)
  • Certified Project Manager (PMP)

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Demonstrates, through behavior, AdventHealth’s service standards.

  • Supports all associated and assigned workstreams in developing project plans and aggressively managing timelines from project inception to completion.
  • Develops project plans as initiatives are developed and seeks to take ownership of associated workstreams
  • Partner with leaders to help execute on project updates, deadlines and serves as a Consumer Advocacy driver for project development and implementation.
  • Supports Executive Director and others within the operational support team with any project needs including meeting support, project development updates, slide deck creation, data analysis and operations implementation
  • Execute change management activities such as discovery, stakeholder assessments, change impact assessments, mitigation planning and adoption assessment.
  • Serve as a point of contact and single source of truth for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy.
  • Participate in meetings, take notes and capture next steps and action items and circulate with the team for agreement.
  • Collaborate with AH teams for cross functional projects.
  • Report on progress of activities, risks and issues to necessary parties and stakeholders.
  • Work independently and with initiative, supporting multiple project plans while understanding interdependencies amongst all projects and teams.
  • Seeks opportunities to bring value to operational team and care advocacy service delivery team, participating in improvement efforts and collaboration opportunities.
  • Serves as the expert for all components of projects and can speak at a detailed level to the work the team is tracking.
