The Program Coordinator will be responsible for day-to-day administrative operations of Specialized Aging Support (SAS), a program for individuals with intellectual and developmental differences who are living with or at high risk for developing Alzheimer's disease-related dementia (ADRD). Will coordinate implementation, execution, completion and evaluation of program objectives and outcomes.

PROGRAM SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS/STANDARDS:

  • Passionate about working for an organization committed to providing services for individuals with intellectual and developmental differences through a new and innovative program. Assist with planning and coordination of Specialized Aging Support program, supporting individuals with IDD who are living with or at high-risk of dementia.
  • Coordinates and supports program team in following grant work plan, monitoring day-to-day day center procedures, and ensuring the timely implementation of all program deliverables. This may include but is not limited to researching information, analyzing data, providing data tools or survey tools, compiling information, arranging meetings/conferences, producing correspondence and reports.
  • Performs administrative duties within day center including daily administrative operations, coordinating details for events hosted by the SAS program, and submitting grant recorded data into grant management system.
  • Monitor implementation of program policies and procedures.
  • Collaborates with members of the program team and other stakeholders to communicate the processes of the program, facilitate participation, prepare materials for meetings and document assigned tasks.
  • Track and monitor program goal metrics (e.g., financial incentives, participation, contract utilization, signup).
  • Identifies milestones and deliverables, based on grant schedule. Tracks and reports on updates, deliverables and outcomes to grantors and all key stakeholders.
  • Schedules, attends and participates in meetings, distributes agenda and action items. Serves on designated committees and councils as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned by Occupational Therapy Manager and Vice President of Independent Living Support Services.

Education:

College degree preferred. Experience can potentially be substituted for required degree.

Skills:

Excellent organization, verbal and written communication skills, positive interpersonal skills, effective goal setting and implementation, cfreative and effective problem solving skills. Effective collaboration and teamwork. Ability to perform all responsibilities independently, without direct supervision. Must be willing to work non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends if necessary. Submission of data entries through grant management program.

Experience:

  • Two plus years of relevant experience required.
  • Proficient in Excel with the ability to produce graphs and tables and use spreadsheets efficiently.
  • Experience with PowerPoint presentation design, templates and other features.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills required.
  • Strong analytical, database and research skills needed.

Salary: $38,000 to $45,000 annually
