The
Research Program Coordinator will work with departmental leadership to develop and implement an overall strategic approach for development and evaluation of educational and clinical resources for child behavioral health concerns and parenting resources for military families. The incumbent will additionally oversee the data and technological infrastructure to obtain and analyze clinical outcomes and create similar systems to develop, assess, and monetize technological clinic-based solutions for behavioral health.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, translate, disseminate, and evaluate educational and clinical content relevant to the target population.
- Develop operational strategies, processes, and systems to support continual assessment and improvement of clinical outcomes.
- Manage multiple research projects related to improving the effectiveness, efficiency, and cost of behavioral healthcare.
- Provide supervision to research and administrative staff (e.g., Postdoctoral Fellows, Research Assistants).
- Collaborate with program leadership to meet operational and research goals.
- Plan and provide oversight of long-term operational and research agenda.
- Coordinate, direct, and manage initiatives to research, develop, and assess technological solutions to enhance cost and efficiency of behavioral healthcare.
- Prepare and complete research proposals for submission to the Johns Hopkins Institutional Review Board.
- Plan and write research manuscripts and grant proposals.
- Disseminate operational and/or research findings in inter- or extra-departmental meetings and academic conferences.
- Oversee Research Assistants writing for research proposals, manuscripts, and grants, and presentation of research findings at professional conferences.
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) preferred
EDUCATION:
- Master’s degree in psychology, behavior analysis, healthcare management, and/or public health from a nationally accredited university required.
- Doctoral degree is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of five years of related professional research experience in a pediatric setting, as demonstrated by development or oversight of similar accountability systems and/or relevant academic products (e.g. conference presentations, grants, publications, etc.), required.
- Minimum of two years supervisory and teamwork experience, preferably with a variety of clinical, research, and administrative personnel preferred.
