Description:SUMMARY
Clean, set-up, operate, palletize and be responsible for the continuous flow of systems such as packaging equipment, blenders, hoppers, vacuum, silo and bulk load out, according to customized order descriptions. The hours and schedule for this position is 2nd Shift - 3:00p.m. to 11:30p.m., Monday through Saturday. You will work 5-6 days per week on a rotating schedule that includes Saturdays. This position starts at $15 hourly plus a shift differential of $2/hour for any hours worked on 2nd shift.
ESSENTIAL FUNTCIONS
System operator’s main duties include:

• Setting up production systems; assembling a custom system station using machine units, based on a customized order.
• Operating equipment and monitoring the flow of product into containers. This includes putting product into a system from bags, boxes, drums and bulk bags.
• Monitoring equipment operations for quality, food safety, customer and PacMoore standards.
• Filling and packaging product manually and/or by using a machine into containers such as bags, boxes, drums or bulk bags. Off-loading product containers from equipment to a pallet for transport.
• Cleaning machinery; using a dry clean process and/or a wet wash process to thoroughly clean systems and system units according to standards and process requirements.

• Must have the physical ability to meet strength and movement requirements.
• Must be able to read at an 8th grade level and pass pre-employment reading and basic math works samples
• Working cooperatively and communicating effectively with co-workers.
• Ability to make effective decisions within established guidelines.
• Willingness to accept supervision, follow stated guidelines and requirements and is committed to safety and quality standards.
