POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Production Supervisor is responsible for the proper functioning of the shop floor during the shift. The Production Supervisor is highly skilled in the setup and operation of numerous machining centers. Production Supervisor is also responsible for the security of the facilities during their assigned shift.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises proper functioning of machinery in all workcenters.
Supervises proper functioning in all work centers during shift and when applicable works with leads to ensure
proper work flow.
Supports QA in verifying devices are being processed to specifications.
In charge of general facilities security during assigned shift.
Assigns production activities to staff to ensure proper flow of work in the shop.
Allocates tooling and other resources to machining centers in accordance with scheduled work.
Supervises all shop personnel during the shift
Ensures that work in progress travels according to instructions in router and that is properly identified as to order
description and status at all times.
Verify that production records are accurately prepared.
Set-up machining centers
At beginning or end of shift or both, hands over or receives from prior supervisor all operations details to ensure a
smooth transition from one to the next shift.
