Production Supervisor

Amentum is seeking a Production Supervisor at the Corpus Christi Army Depot for Supervision over Avionics and Aircraft Electricians.

The Production supervisor ensures that production of products meets or exceeds efficiency and company quality standards. In addition, the production Supervisor ensures that facilities and processes conform to GMP standards by managing Quality Systems and documents. He/she is responsible for overseeing their subordinate personnel. He/she shall resolve all personnel issues in coordination with HR Representative. Ensures that Depot regulations are adhered to and that all related forms and records are completed accurately and on time. Responsible for daily attendance, personnel assignments, transactions, workmanship, schedules, training, quality control, overall production, and administration of onsite field team operations. Should have excellent verbal and writing skills and well versed in communicating with the customer on all levels.

Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:

Office and outdoor environment including all work centers and hangars that Amentum employees work in at the Corpus Christi Army Depot. Frequent walking of long distances multiple times a day, prolonged standing, bending, kneeling, and reaching. Must be able to lift a maximum of 35 lbs. Frequent sitting while using a computer, frequent use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills and must be able to work under deadlines.

Other Responsibilities:

Procedure Compliance - Each employee must read, understand and implement the general and specific operational, safety, quality and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures and policies pertaining to his/her job.
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • A High School Diploma is required.
  • Must have former formal military training in aviation maintenance or formal training from a civilian institute or college and have an A&P license. Must have eight (8) years of aircraft related work experience with five (5) years of prior Aviation Maintenance Supervisor experience.
  • Must possess an in-depth knowledge and experience of the occupational trade/skill of the area they manage.
  • Must have ability to Supervise and Instruct personnel.
  • Must be able to type.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Must be able to communicate information to and from supervisors regarding safety compliance, company policy, CCAD Standard Operating Procedures, etc.
  • Preferred knowledge of CCAD Operations, regulations, and policies.
  • Must be able to work closely with Government First-Line Supervisors and implements procedures contained in the CCAD business Process Guide.
  • Must possess a valid driver License and base access requirements/ Common Access Card (CAC).
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
  • Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test and be capable and willing to submit and pass random fitness for duty screening particularly for drugs and alcohol.
