OVERVIEW

The Production Specialist will primarily be responsible for customizing the apparel of our soccer teams and clubs. The candidate will operate a heat transfer press machine to apply pre-printed graphics, numbers, and letters to garments, fabrics and other items. The Specialist will work as part of a team to maintain an orderly, clean, efficient and safe production environment. This is a temporary role to assist with our busy season. Evening and weekend availability as needed are a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the values of the organization.
• Apply designs to various garments using a heat transfer press machine.
• Accurately apply embellishments per specifications of each order based on the production document.
• Prepare vinyl transfers for use.
• Measure, mark, and prepare garments for transfer.
• Ensure quality of both supplied and finished product
• Complete jobs in timely manner / meet daily production goals as set by the Production Manager
• Maintain a clutter free and organized work area
• Report any machinery issues to Manager
• Make the Production Manager aware when running low on materials.
• May assist with packing orders and receiving deliveries.
• Adhere to company safety practices in conducting job duties
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• Experience utilizing a Heat Press preferred
• Attention to detail and organization skills to maintain accuracy.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as work cohesively with other team members
• Excellent communication skills.
• Prior experience with fulfilling customization orders strongly preferred.
• Evening and weekend availability as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Physically able to lift, pull, and push up to 25 lbs.
• Frequent use of hands, wrist and arms to operate machine
• Physically able to stand for long periods of time, including occasional bending, squatting, and kneeling. Climb ladders of various sizes.
• Work overtime assigned by the manager as needed to meet production goals.

Pay commensurate with experience

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
