Sound Publishing, Inc. has a Production Coordinator for Page Layout position available at the Daily Herald in Everett, WA. The position is Full-time and the schedule requires flexibility. Basic Duties include working directly with local editors to develop and layout the design of the weekly editions using InDesign. Provide copy editing and headline-writing services as needed

Additional duties include building classified ads for daily and weekly publications, data entry, estimate ad percentages and create layout plans for publications. The position will require providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.

Wage for this position is $17 to $18 per hour depending on experience.

Job Requirements:

• Experience with Adobe Creative CC, which includes: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat.
• Basic understanding of Adobe effect and web layout preferred.
• Excellent customer service, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment.
• Newspaper and agency experience is preferred but not required.
