Description

• Identifying stakeholder/host installation requirements required for bedding down system capabilities and ensuring those requirements are consistent with existing system developmental requirements
• Advising and managing programmatic considerations (e.g., cost and schedule) that will enable successfully deliver and bed-down
• Consulting with logisticians to develop strategies and plans that meet system requirements and programmatic constraints
• Capturing fielding and other pre-Initial Operational Capability risks and opportunities and managing those within the programs risk ledger managed by the Chief Engineer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of related experience
• Experience with government weapon system sustainment and/or operations
• Project management within the Department of Defense or defense industry experience
• Must have an active in-scope background investigation with Top Secret eligibility (SSBI/T5) and the ability to obtain and maintain Sensitive Compartmented Information and Special Access Program accesses as well as willing to consent to a counter-intelligence polygraph examination

• Professional certifications (e.g., PMI PMP)
• Background with Government weapons system program office or industrial base equivalent
• Experience in the National Security Space and, or the Space Control mission area

Target salary range: $100,001 - $125,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
