RIMOWA has an exciting job offer for a Procurement Coordinator to join our Supply Chain Team. By joining us, you will play a very important part of the Procurement activity and will have to deal with our suppliers as well as our internal stakeholders to ensure smooth production. YOUR RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Monitor status of open purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery of all materials. Be proactive in ensuring production adherence every week.
- Track order confirmations of the current suppliers as well as on-board the new suppliers
- Develope KPIs to measure the supplier performance – especially lead time adherence, timely deliveries, and order fulfilment rate.
- Collaborate with Finance team to ensure that invoices are paid on time and track the payment discounts
- Improve the intra-company purchase order processing times and the service level rates. Analyse the current processes and suggest/implement improvements wherever required.
- Be the guardian of availability and accuracy of Inventory figures by co-ordinating with the IT department and warehousing frequently
- Project Management with R&D team and Purchasing team to maintain the master data of upcoming Projects/ Limited Editions in our Planning software.
Profile
PROFILE:
- Bachelor’s in supply chain management, business studies or an equivalent degree
- Analytical and hands-on mentality
- Fluent in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
- Knowledge of ERP, Power BI is preferred.
- Organised and structured way of working.
- Good at time management, ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Experience of 2-3 years in planning/ project management/ procurement or similar roles
- Fluently German (B2) and English (B2) in words and speaking
