Robinson is looking for a Principal Product Manager to own the products and product strategy that drive the two-sided digital marketplace powering our Global Air, Ocean, and Customs Brokerage business. The right candidate will be a systems thinker with a commitment to delivering the best experience for our people, customers, and carriers (both sides of the marketplace).

Responsibilities:
- Define a roadmap of strategies and products, to drive growth and support our customers
- Partner with other Business, Pricing, Product, Data Science, and Technical teams to deliver complete solutions that support business needs
- Conduct sophisticated quantitative, qualitative, business, customer, and strategic research and analysis to identify, test/validate, develop, and implement marketplace growth programs
- Manage projects from start to finish, including stakeholder management and communication of results, insights, and recommendations
- Develop and maintain business intelligence, enabling data-driven decision making by senior leaders
- Define requirements, metrics analysis and partner with engineering counterparts on development, testing, and launching efforts
- Minimize wasted technology investment by testing/validating hypotheses behind proposed investments, and by auditing and improving existing investments
- Manage tradeoffs and evaluate new ideas and opportunities with stakeholders, driving to alignment while maintaining a clear focus on overarching business priorities
- Navigate an ambiguous environment, from a strategic and tactical perspective, where the product management function is still maturing
- Mentor other Product Managers, help shape our culture, introduce best practice, and bring knowledge to the team
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years or more of product management experience, conducting strategic quantitative and/or qualitative analysis to inform technology/operations investments/changes in a cross-functional enterprise environment
- Willing and able to work 10am – 8pm PST, Monday through Thursday, as well as 10am – 2pm PST, Friday, to better enable collaboration with stakeholders and engineering teams based both in Asia and North America
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience and high school diploma/GED
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bi-lingual with English and Mandarin fluency
- 3 years or more of digital marketplace dynamics/mechanics experience in a product or data science capacity
- Master’s degree Business Administration/Management, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering, Analytics/Data Science

Compensation Range
