Your role:
The Practice Coordinator ensures the efficiency and professionalism of the medical office. The Office Coordinator will also have general responsibilities to assist in the day-to-day operations of the office.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: High school education or GED equivalent preferred; Administrative Assistant experience desired; previous patient contact work in a medical practice is desired; possesses a knowledge of modern office procedures and equipment; computer proficiency to include the ability to use practice management software, Microsoft Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel, and general email systems; comfortable troubleshooting and utilizing telephone support; human resources knowledge and skills helpful.

- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers. Ability to perform operations using units of American money and weight measurements, volume and distance.
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
