GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Pool Ambassadors must be a minimum 16 years. Cashiers must be a minimum of 18 years. Pool Ambassadors work with the Lifeguards, Pool Ambassadors and Pool Manager to maintain order on the pool deck, turf area, changing rooms and shower rooms. Pool Ambassadors report directly to the Pool Manager.
EXPECTATIONS
- Consistently prevents accidents, enforces safety rules, responds appropriately to emergencies, and works cooperatively in a team.
- Keeps the deck, concession area, changing rooms, restrooms, and turf areas clean, free of trash and obstacles. Removes trash, replaces trash bags throughout the day as necessary. Replaces paper towel and toilet paper in changing room stalls and front restrooms throughout the day as necessary.
- Maintains order and control on the waterslide stairway/platform area.
- Communicates effectively with and demonstrates professionalism to patrons, Aquatic Team members, Management and Village Administration.
- Understands, follows and enforces all pool rules and regulations on and off duty.
- Participates in weekly professional in-service training.
- Makes a reasonable effort to independently solve problems, referring problems beyond personal comfort to the Head Lifeguard or Pool Manager.
- Maintains all equipment necessary for the successful operation of the pool.
- Performs other pool duties as requested by the Pool Manager and Village Administration.
