Plumbing Service Technician - $30 to $37 hour base ($57 hour plus with incentive pay)

Duties and Responsibilities:

SPS Mechanical a South Jersey residential and light commercial service and installation company, has an immediate need for an experienced Plumbing Technician who is interested in working for a growing company with a strong employee and customer focus.

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 plus years of experience, specifically with service plumbing and drain cleaning. The position requires proficiency in installing, repairing and maintaining domestic and light commercial plumbing fixtures, systems and proficiency in drain clearing & jetting.

Responsibilities:

• Plumbing technicians use their skills to troubleshoot and provide solutions to residential and commercial sewer and drain problems.
• Clear blockages on plumbing systems, clean drains and sewers using Roto-Rooter provided equipment and tools.
• Document estimates and invoices, both in writing and on a company provided iPhone.
• Troubleshooting of Commercial Water Heaters (Gas & Electric).
• Repair and or replace of Sewage Pumps.
• Drain cleaning via Cable Machines and Jetter.
• Fixture replacements and repairs (Faucets, Toilets, Urinals, Kitchen Fixtures).
• Maintain the workplace (including the service van) in a neat, clean, and safe condition.
• Work and drive safely, using appropriate safety gear and techniques.
• Ability to work on-call and respond to emergency calls as needed.
• Project a professional image to associates, customers, and others.
• Perform other duties as directed by Supervisor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $37.00 per hour
