Plating Line Leader

About the Job

Position Summary:

Hitachi Astemo Findlay, Inc. is a tier-one automotive supplier.

This position provides day-to-day leadership in the assigned department. The Line Leader's main daily activities include but are not limited to the following.

Job Duties include but are limited to:

• Make checmical additions in the proper baths as instructed, including lifting 55 pound bags
• Proper use of pH meters and maintaining the correct pH
• Wearing the proper PPE with the task that is being done
• Getting inside chemical tanks to do what is needed
• Learning different areas including Waste Water Room
• Empty chemical baths and knowing what valves to use
• Fill chemical baths using the correct chemical
• Learning purpose/importance of each bath
• Learning all waste produced, the proper container to use, how to label and where to place when full
• Learning where all to empty drums /containers are to be placed
• Mandatory to work all shutdowns

• Prior manufacturing/production experience'

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.55 - $21.95 per hour
