Culligan of West Texas (Midland) is looking for a self-motivated, results orientated individual to join our team as a Plant Technician. Working as a Plant Technician, your wide variety of responsibilities will include all aspects of bottling and warehouse functions, shipping and receiving, inventory and equipment maintenance.

Culligan of West Texas (Midland) is committed to the safety and well-being of our employees and our customers. We provide all of our employees with the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and sanitization supplies to safely perform their job in the field and office. Employees are following the proper CDC guidelines and practicing social distancing. The latest technology allows our field employees to communicate with customers prior to their visit in order to avoid close contact and keep everyone safe.

Responsibilities

• All aspects of plant production/ water bottling; loading and unloading of empty and full bottles from production line
• Load and unload all product shipments
• Periodically clean and organize warehouse
• Continual maintenance of refurbished coolers and other equipment
• Provide shipping and receiving duties for outer locations and customers
• Abide by all required company policies, rules and regulations
• Conduct self in a positive and cooperative manner with co-workers and management
• May cover bottled water delivery route as needed
• Perform complete regeneration of all equipment, including transferring and cleansing resin, filling resin tanks with regenerated resin, sterilizing and installing all manifolds and caps, and testing for acceptable results.
• Operate bottling facility according to established standards.
• Ensure all tanks have media completely up to recommended level.
• Identify and dump all tanks that are suspected of leaking or in need of repair.
• Able to distribute products and parts to walk-in-customers.
• Maintain and repair automatic water conditioning equipment brought to warehouse for repair.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift/push/ pull a minimum of 165lbs.on a repetitive basis
• Mechanical knowledge
• Forklift certified preferred
• Must be able to follow and execute manager instruction
• Good organizational skills
• Successful completion of pre-employment screenings
• Organized with the ability to be a team player
• Ability to thrive and multi-task in an active work environment
