Description:
Leads the make, buy, and Bill of Material (BOM) planning activities associated with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) transactions for various programs. Leads cross-function activities to ensure quality, cost, and schedule integrity. Maintains production systems integrity to drive inventory optimization to minimize cost. Expedites and optimizes material flow through the supply chain to meet customer requirements. Coordinates with manufacturing, test, and Operations Management to provide shop floor control on make parts. Develops manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives. Analyzes production schedule, executes MRP to the plan and produces workaround plans as applicable. Specific tasks include:- Forecast demand for final products
- Maximize resource utilization
- Improve and maintain quality of the processes and products
- Ensures adequate stock levels
- Timely execution of supply documents
- Demonstrate positive planning and controls
- Demonstrate effective logistics, quality management
Basic Qualifications:
- Demonstrated Systems, Application and Products (SAP), Enterprise Resource Planning experience
- Demonstrated leadership
- Effective communication skills
- Bills of Material and Production Schedule Comprehension
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.

Uses time effectively and seldom allows unrelated requests or distractions from interfering with work completion. Timely coordination for MRP generation, Hardware Program Controls Directive, Bill of Material, work instructions, serialization, work order closures and workflow failure issues.
Technical:
Basic knowledge of assembly and production processes, manufacturing capabilities (e.g., composites, structures), and data needed for defining delivery configurations (e.g., design definition, program directives, engineering drawings and changes and MRP processes). Ability to differentiate between make/buy processes and requirements. Initiate timely interface resolution support to minimize impact to schedule or business.
First shift - ability to work overtime
Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a secret DoD security clearance.
