We are now hiring a PRN Physical Therapist to join our team!

The Physical Therapist is responsible for providing physical therapy treatments to patients to facilitate increased independence and restore function.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
1. Plans and conducts individualized physical therapy programs to help patients develop, regain, or maintain their ability to perform daily activities.

2. Work with other members of the therapy team to implement programs consistent with the needs and capabilities of each patient.
3. Instructs patients, families and other caregivers in the skills and techniques of the physical therapy treatment program, home exercise training.

4. Communicates effectively with the physical therapy assistant(s) regarding the patient’s progress, concerns, goal(s) status and other pertinent information to provide quality treatment.

5. Adhere to ethical and legal standards.

Qualifications

· Graduate of an approved Physical therapy program.

· Current license or eligible for license under statutes in Florida.

· Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills with both client(s), colleagues, and administration.

· Ability to swim.

· Current CPR certification
