» Your future in detail
CECAD is an inclusive, equal opportunity employer that offers attractive conditions and benefits commensurate with an international research organisation with a very collegial and family-friendly work environment.
The Stangherlin lab is a newly established research group at CECAD research centre in Cologne. Our group is interested in cellular circadian rhythms, pervasive biological oscillations that manifest themselves with a period of 24 hours. In particular, we are interested in understanding how ion abundance and signalling change during the day, at cellular and subcellular resolution, and how this is affected by the ageing process. Besides various cell biology and biochemical techniques, we capitalise on an emerging technology based on atomic emission spectrometry to analyse changes in ion abundance during the circadian cycle (ionomics).
Applications from female candidates are expressly welcome and will be given priority in the event of equal suitability, competence and professional performance.
People with disabilities are welcome to apply and will be treated preferentially in the event of equal suitability and qualification.
